Meet the Pars Rug Gallery International team: Specialists in Oriental rugs

We aim to reintroduce Oriental rugs as iconic objects that evidence cultures, people and history.

That is because too often Oriental rugs are seen solely as floor covering or décor.

Arash Karimzadeh

Arash, Managing Director and founder, has over 40 years of experience in antique rugs. He is also an avid collector and a gifted lecturer. He has given talks at the British Museum, the Rug Society and the University of the Third Age. Currently he is undertaking research on the Iranian (Persian) pre-Islamic period.

Languages spoken: English, Persian, French, Azari.

Gabriel Tyira

Gabriel is responsible for the workshop where he manages the restoration department and the appraisals of European and Oriental rugs.

Languages spoken: English, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese.

Sorin Cristea

Sorin is in charge of the daily maintenance in our large warehouse. He is also our professional photographer due to his strong passion for photography.

Languages spoken: English, Romanian, Italian.

Francesca Bandini

Francesca is the Digital Marketing Manager. She directs the company’s online presence through the website and social media. She is also a blogger with a passion for luxury and interior design.
